Hi, I am epli (E- P -Lee). Trained as a death doula, and a general lover of people with an eye for order and creative reuse — it is my pleasure to offer my services as both a Swedish Death Cleaner and general declutter-extraordinaire. Each job is it’s own opportunity to hear the stories of my clients, learn from folks and help them free up their space, their time and their lives.

My skill at this work is rooted in a keen and thoughtful orientation to space and order, but honestly, my best asset is that I care and I get how attached we can be to our things. A little known fact, when I was a kid and I was told I had to “clean up my room and get rid of the junk”, I had a quiet practice of giving each item a kiss or a squeeze before I put it in the trash bag provided. I wanted each piece to know it was appreciated. That tenderhearted quality, although evolved, is still a part of how I move through the world. I understand how hard it is to let go. I also recognize how freeing it is to let go of the things that no longer serve us; to make more room for what is present. Striking that balance is an art, and I am here to support you in that process.

Grief is a part of being human, and the objects we carry with us can contain so much. Together, we can gently and effectively work with your belongings, and the stories they hold, as we shift towards a lighter way of being.
